Bio

Dhr. Dr. M.A.M. (Marcel) Beijk is interventie-cardioloog in het Amsterdam UMC. In 2011 promoveerde hij op het onderwerp ‘PCI of complex coronary lesions, new stent technologies, and clinical outcomes’ (promotores: prof. R.J. de Winter en prof. J.G.P. Tijssen) aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam.

In 2014 rondde hij de opleiding tot cardioloog af in het Academisch Medisch Centrum, Amsterdam. Aansluitend volgde hij specialisatie in de interventiecardiologie. Sinds 2018 is dr. Beijk werkzaam in het team en verantwoordelijk voor het volledige spectrum aan percutane ingrepen bij kinderen en volwassenen met aangeboren hartaandoeningen in CAHAL.
