CAHAL op EuroACHD congres 2025

Op 11 en 12 april 2025 vond het EuroACHD congres 2025 plaats in Napels, Italië, een afvaardiging van CAHAL specialisten was aanwezig. Tijdens dit tweedaagse congres vond nascholing plaats over volwassen patiënten met aangeboren hartafwijkingen. Diverse thema’s werden besproken in een uitgebreid wetenschappelijk programma.

CAHAL promovendus Ralph Neijenhuis won met zijn presentatie: “Effect of sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors on ventricular function in systemic right ventricular failure” de prijs voor beste abstract!

Alexandra van Dissel gaf een presentatie over: “Infective endocarditis in prosthetic valves and cardiac devices; new insights in diagnosis and management“.

Diederick Verheijen gaf een poster presentatie over: “Invasive testing leads to significantly altered (surgical) management strategy in coronary anomalies with interarterial course: 3 year interim analysis of MUSCAT“

Lars Witte gaf een poster presentatie over: “Transoesophageal echocardiography with contrast bubble study directly after device placement to assess successful closure of PFO: A predictor for residual shunt at 6 months follow-up?”
